I love following ZenFamilyHabits blog. Today Leo posted 31 simple pleasures you can enjoy as a family given the right mindset. It made me happy to see how many from his list we've shared together just this week. What's on your list?
- Take a walk and have a nice talk.
- Pack a simple picnic and go outdoors.
- Get outside and toss around a ball or Frisbee.
- Ride bikes or jog.
- Rent a movie (or get out one of your old DVDs) and make some popcorn.
- Bake cookies.
- Play boardgames.
- Make tents out of blankets.
- Read a book together.
- Tell stories.
- Look for bugs outside.
- Make paper airplanes.
- Go to the library.
- Take a hike.
- Camp in your backyard.
- Go to the beach or a lake or river.
- Take a stroll in the park or go to a playground.
- Read a book of tongue twisters and make up your own.
- Play loud music and dance.
- Just snuggle.
- Hide, and go seek.
- Thumb wrestle.
- Watch a sunrise.
- Count the stars and find constellations (or make up your own).
- Have a good hug.
- Eat chocolate. Slowly.
- Banana split.
- Root beer float.
