Let's Put It Up For A Vote

I started a 365 book with great intent to capture our entire year with pictures and words. I loved doing my Daily December book and our Week in the Life book in October. 365 seemed like the next great challenge! I've become obsessed, troubled, fixated, bothered, stuck with the format! The other two books came together so easily with a uniform style that I love. I want to keep that same uniform look but have now used three different formats trying to decide on one!

So I'm giving it to you all now. Decide for me. Please! Here are the three I've used so far

1. Ali Edward's template with some modifications (2 page spread for each week)

2. Katie Pertiet's Template with modifications (2 page spread per week)
3. Anna Aspnes' Template (one page spread per week)I can easily change the papers and colors, so it is really the template I need to decide on! I think I need to just go with a kraft background since that is my one true scrapbooking love!

Cast your vote. Give me your opinion. Make my decision for me! Thanks! :)

Oh, fun! I'll be the first. They are all terrific, but I like the middle one best. I like the cleanness of the design and that there is just a bit of space between the photos. The photos really stand out.

My vote is Katie's template - love that the photos are larger than Anna's - your pages deserve double pager status :) & writing under the photos but not over the photos like Ali's

i like ali's template the best, but i have a special love for a single, large photo as a focal point.

I vote for number one. I like the large photo, and I think it makes for a good opportunity to showcase your favorite of the week. ;) ;) ;)

Ok, knowing you somewhat, I'm going to venture out and say that you will not be held back and will add single photo layouts to whatever templates you decide to go with. That being said, I like Katie's templates for your photos. I like the fact that the journaling on those templates is not overwhelming to the photos and that there is room for more than just one line if you need to "say more" about a photo.

They are all great, but I think I like #3 the best. I love your work!

I love them all and like you I couldn't decide which template to work with. I ended up deciding to change my template each month along with papers/elements. So far I like what I'm doing and hope it will all come out clean in the end. This month I'm using Katie's template that you have posted. I already have Anna's template in my stash and now that I've seen Ali's I'm going to have to think about using that one.

Tough to choose but your photography is the focus and the first really showcases and catches the eye... to explore further. Can't go wrong with any.

hi Katrina! I started out with Ali's 2 page spreads, but moved on to one page per week, using Anna's templates and the one that Joey created.

I am committed to taking the photos, I don't want the stress of creating 2 page layouts each week.

Good Luck - I don't think you can go wrong any way you choose.

Definitely number one for me. Love the big photo of the week. Love the graph background. These first pages you did was what actually drew me to wanting to Project 365 because I saw how terrific yours looked and it was these first ones that sold me on the whole project. See, you have no idea how many people out here in digi land you inspire.

You make them all look good, so it's tough to choose. I think I like #3 the best.

I like them all so I am just going to wait and see how you decided to complete the project.

Hi Katrina! I haven't started any projects like this yet (still new at this!) but looking at the comparisons between the three, I have to say I like #3 the best! It just looks really sharp. And it's making me want to see the whole book. AND try it for myself!

Thanks for the great blog post!

I started to immeditaely say #1 but then I started thinking that you will probably continue to give photos you love or stories that need it a page of their own anyway (maybe)so I was tempted by #1 because of the large photo and more room for journaling and then I went straight to #3, I guess because its an overview - quick glimpse i guess. and i just love the way you made that page look. And I think 52 pages for the one book and then another book with your pages from the year - and really one of my favorites of yours is when you printed the book of just your fav photos - girl youare just so talented you cant go wrong!

i like the 3rd one

Sheesh - now you're making me want to change my format. ARGH!!!! LOL.

I think I like one or two best. Your photos are AMAZING and I can see the photos better in those formats. However, I think it's a very valid point that making 2-pagers every week may not be something you want to do. Honestly, that's why I'm using Anna's template. I wouldn't keep up with it if I had to do 2 pages.

I love Anna Aspnes templates! Love it with the kraft papers my vote is for # 3

I am thinking that Katie's template is the best because of the larger photos and journaling. However, you definitely will have to add a favorite single photo page here and there throughout!!

I liked all of them however- they're all perfect in their own special way!!
