Take A Quick (and easy?) Photo Quiz

Today's photos were taken within about two minutes of each other as Ian and I walked home from school. He was complaining about the long walk (it's short) and I was doing everything I could think of to distract him. You can see in the first shot that he got away from me, but before you worry that tiny person in the distance is his dad!

For today's quiz, can you tell me what makes these photos unique for me? To help you out the answer is not that they are flowers!

While you're looking, care to help me decide which one is Photo of the Day worthy?

Thanks for looking!

I was going to guess something about being on the ground or about Ian being out of focus (I'm sure that is not very common!) but I think it's that you used a point-and-shoot!

Your use of depth of field makes each photo unique. I love the flowers beautiful!

My guess is DOF, too. :)

Oh, and the last one is my favorite. :)

Yep, DOF is my guess also, lol. And I pick the very first one for POTD.

I think Esther is right ... point and shoot!

I love them all. I'm guessing you took them with your phone. LOL My vote is for the last one.

Yes...my guess would have to be you are testing out DOF with that new Coolpix! I personally like either the first photo or the purple flower (which i think is awesome if that was taken with the P&S)! :)

I'm guessing the point and shoot as well. (And hoping we're right since I've decided to take just my P&S with us on vacation this week. No room for the DSLR, sadly. I'm partial to #2 and #4.

On the vacation note, do you have any "Must See" or "Must Do" or "Must Eat" suggestions for Sacramento? We're going to be there for two days to visit UCDavis. Thanks.

And on another note, I just finished reading Getting Off Auto which I found to be a great review of all I learned in Through the Lens. I can't wait to get some time to do the practice activities. Thanks.
